How to maintain and service the flying board hose

1. Daily inspection

Visual inspection:

Before and after each use, carefully inspect the outer surface of the fly plate hose to check for wear, cracks, scratches, bulges, etc. Pay special attention to the areas near the joints and areas that are frequently bent.

If any damage is found on the surface, its severity should be assessed promptly to decide whether to continue using it or to perform repairs.

Connection inspection:

Check whether the connection between the hose and the connector is firm and whether there is any looseness or leakage. You can shake the connector gently to feel the tightness of the connection.

Observe whether the seal is intact, such as whether the sealing gasket is deformed or damaged, to ensure good sealing performance.

2. Cleaning and maintenance

Cleaning after use:

After each use, the fly plate hose should be cleaned as soon as possible. If ordinary liquid is being transported, the inside and outside of the hose can be rinsed with clean water to remove the residual medium.

For conveying viscous substances or corrosive media, you can choose a suitable cleaning agent for cleaning according to the properties of the medium, but make sure that the cleaning agent will not damage the hose material.

Drying treatment:

The hose should be fully dried after cleaning to avoid residual moisture that may cause rust or bacterial growth in the hose. You can hang the hose in a well-ventilated place to dry naturally, or wipe it dry with a clean cloth.

3. Proper storage

Avoid direct sunlight:

When storing the fly plate hose, choose a cool, dry place and avoid long-term exposure to sunlight. Ultraviolet rays will age and brittle the material of the hose, reducing its service life.

Keep away from heat and chemicals:

Do not place the hose near heat sources, such as heaters, stoves, etc. High temperatures may cause the hose to deform or be damaged. At the same time, keep it away from chemicals to prevent chemical corrosion.

Properly roll:

The hose can be neatly rolled up to avoid folding or twisting to keep its shape. It can also be stored on a dedicated hose reel or rack for easy next use.

4. Regular maintenance

Stress Test:

Regularly pressure test the fly plate hose to ensure that it can withstand the working pressure and has no leakage or deformation. Professional pressure testing equipment can be used for testing.

Replacement of wearing parts:

The consumable parts of the hose, such as the joints and seals, may be worn or damaged after a period of use. They should be checked regularly and replaced in time. Make sure that the replaced parts match the specifications of the hose to ensure the tightness and reliability of the connection.

Professional maintenance:

If you have high requirements for the performance and safety of the hose, you can regularly send it to a professional repair and maintenance organization for comprehensive inspection and maintenance to extend the service life of the hose.
